Excellent book!!!

When I received the copy of Mrs. Patsy Rae Dawson book on Marriage: A Taste of Heaven about God's people make the best lovers, I thought it would be a general book about the Christian view on marriage like many other books I have read.
But the moment I started to read this book, I was amazed with this wonderful work which is very in-depth and how it gives a lot of insights concerning God's plan and origin on sexuality.
One of the reasons this book is so important is because the beautiful gift
of sexuality has been corrupted after the fall of man and satan has been
using it to destroy personal lives and marriages by giving them a wrong and false view on sexuality. This book brings insights for recovering the true meaning of sexuality.
A real eye opener to me was the way Patsy Rae Dawson described history like Victorian morals and the feminist movement and how they influenced our society, culture, and families.
The foundation of Patsy Rae Dawson's writings are based on the Holy Word of God; and in this way, she shows that only God Himself is the best counselor concerning sexuality.
If someone wants a good and healthy view of God's design on sexuality, read and study this book, because it is the best.
Again you need to study it because the book contains much information. I
recommend it especially for pastors and pastoral workers who are working
with those in the church or outside the church who need pastoral help
concerning sexuality.

Refreshingly Frank

I found this book refreshingly frank. I was very pleased to see that Patsy Rae Dawson left no stone unturned. She not only dealt with all the issues, but she delved deeply into them. I especially appreciated that she used scripture for the purpose of expressing truth, and not just as a means of backing up her view. She discussed the scriptures and talked about what they mean instead of giving her view and then quoting a few scriptures to prove her view.
I found myself saying, "Yes, yes, that's right," "Wow, I hadn't thought about that, but it's right," "I have to remember that," "I want to put that into practice," "I need to tell my daughters that," or "I want to discuss that with my husband." And after finishing the book I feel that all--and I mean all--women as well as men need to read this book before marriage. I believe Patsy Rae Dawson has written the definitive biblically based book on how to have a good sexual relationship in a marriage.
I like the personal stories. I also like the way Patsy writes. She speaks as someone who has great knowledge and understanding, but she doesn't condemn or criticize. She seems to want only to help others gain the wisdom she has--without judging them or exhibiting any arrogance because of her superior understanding gained through obviously deep and lengthy research.

Guide for using the Bible for our sexual attitudes

In the early years of my marriage, my mother-in-law shared audio cassettes of Patsy's classes using her book, Marriage: A Taste of Heaven, Vol. I. After using her book with individuals and group classes for some years, I was excited when her Vol. II, God's People Make the Best Lovers, was published. Her books inspire complete confidence in God's word as the manual for solving problems in marriage, family and in the life of singles who might be struggling because of early years of molestation, Victorian Morals influence or sexual addiction. Her writing style incorporating real people from Old and New Testament history, situations and people from her own years of counseling others, help the student's eyes to be opened and change their thinking to realize better sexual response in marriage. This book increases Bible and secular knowledge encouraging Christians to feel less reticent in speaking to others as we meet our responsibility to teach God's view of the sexual aspect of our lives.
After 38 yrs. of marriage, I am awestruck at the obvious wish of God for His people to have fantastic lovemaking all the way through the later years. Patsy has made it easy to study by tying the strings of NT and OT scriptures together using God's inspired will for our success in the most intimate of relationships.
